Phil Kramer has served as a public advocate fighting for restraint on taxes, over-development and traffic.

He's taken on issues others avoid and has stood up to his own party when necessary.

For this he has earned the trust and respect of both parties for putting people before politics.

Franklin needs someone with the passion to solve problem that others dare not tackle.

For six years I've served Franklin as a private citizen speaking at nearly every Council meeting on taxes, open government, outside audits of public spending and eminent domain.

Addressing the Board of Ed as well as various Township Committees much of what I've said has resulted in a change of course in our community.

Service on the Zoning Board, Advisory Board of Health, Ethics Committee, as a leader in the local Democratic Party and the Director of the "watchdog" group, Taxpayers United in Franklin (betuf.org) has been the platform for many of my accomplishments.

I'm frequently asked, "How do you have time to do it all." The answer is passion. Passion drives me to help Franklin by working for good government. For years I've done this as a private citizen, I'm now ready to continue this work as a member of Council.

My simple pledge to you is to remember that I am one of you. I will not wait for issues to come before me, rather I will seek out problems and opportunities. Finally, I will never forget that our constitution starts with "We The People".
